Step 1: Consultation
A Smart FT engineer will visit your home to discuss your requirements. If you require a full or partial rewire in addition to the installation of your home automation system, you’ll be issued with a no obligation cost for the electrical works the next day. If a retro fit of your current system is required our engineer will discuss your home automation requirements, along with conduction a visual inspection to assess the state of your current installation. An Electrical Condition Report will need to be carried out on your system prior to installation of your Home automation system to comply with the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671:2008+A3:2015)
Step 2: Installation & Commission
Once a scope of works has been agreed, our installation team will complete any required electrical works prior to the installation of your home automation system. If no electrical remedial works are required, then a system should take between 1 & 3 days to install, on average, a 3 bedroom house should take around 2 days to install & commission.
Step 3: User Control
After your system is fully installed & commissioned, our engineer will downloaded the control app to your lead device & give you a demonstration to show you how to use, make changes & add additional control devices to your home automation system.
Now you are in control.
